Welcome to the home page of LL Study™.
LL Study is a study aid designed by experienced teachers for serious students. It is not designed to replace reading textbooks or interacting with teachers and other students, but to make those experiences more profitable and enjoyable. LL Study does this by giving those who use it a solid introduction into the basics of the subject, so that when they study their textbook or attend their classes, they can quickly move on to the more creative, more interactive, and more enjoyable aspects of learning. (See LL Study's role in the process of learning for a fuller explanation of the how this program fits in with other educational activities.)
LL Study is the computer program that manages study questions. For it to function, it needs a set of questions called a question set for a particular subject. Right now, four question sets are available.
- World Geography is a question set designed to help students master the basics of geography around the world.
- The Westminster Shorter Catechism question set is designed to help students efficiently and thoroughly memorize the questions and answers in that document.
- The New Testament Greek Vocabulary question set is designed to help Greek students acquire and retain the vocabulary words necessary for success in that subject.
- (ESL) Bible Stories: The Beginnings is a question set based on stories from the Bible designed especially for students who are studying English as a second language.
To give you an introduction to the power of LL Study, you are invited to download and use the trial versions of any of the data sets. The trial versions are fully functional, although they contain fewer questions than the full versions.
